Walchand College of Engineering (WCE), Sangli, established in 1947 by late Shri. Dhondumama Sathe and is a premier and autonomous engineering institution in Maharashtra and celebrated platinum jubilee in 2021.

WCE is a government-aided institution with cycle-2 NAAC-A certification and many NBA accredited UG-PG programmes. WCE runs 4 Diploma, 8 Graduate and 11 Post Graduate programs and Ph.D. research centres. WCE faculties are actively engaged in research activities funded by AICTE, DST, DRDO, BARC, TIFAC, RGSTE etc. A large number of WCE alumni are working in leadership positions in academia, Government and industries across glob.
